Glaciated

Corrie an Lochain, Cairngorm. A trip to Ben Macdui was on the cards on a fine April afternoon. Returning to the rim of the Cairngorms northern corries at sunset. That was the plan. Lights winds in Boat of Garten but a gusty 50 by the time we get accross the lower face of the corries. We tuck in to Coire an Lochain for a cuppa ( I was really curious to see if the wee lochan was ice bound ) I set up the big tripod and then forgot about the wind.....engrossed in the image making. The tripod turned out to be a waste of time, instead relying on hand held with image stabilisation. We made our way up and out of the corrie then turned away to Lurchers crag where the wind was no more than a breeze. Great views up the Lairig Ghru to pools of Dee and down to Carn Elrig. Another cuppa then back down at dusk. Magic
